Sunny founded Parhar Law Firm in 2024, restricting his practice to employment law and workplace matters. He started his legal career as a criminal trial lawyer at one of the most reputable and largest criminal law firms in Canada, gaining significant courtroom experience before all levels of court in Ontario. Afterward, Sunny spent years working at established boutique law firms in Toronto, where he honed his advocacy skills, regularly advising clients on workplace matters against a variety of employers from all industries. Whether a small business or the country’s most recognized employers, Sunny has the expertise and experience to handle a diverse range of employment law and human rights issues. He is equipped to represent you at all levels of court in Ontario.

A graduate of the University of Alberta’s Faculty of Law, Sunny focused on litigation and was very involved with the low-income legal clinic, Student Legal Services. Through the clinic, Sunny made hundreds of court appearances, representing clients at trial and other stages of the litigation process. Before law school, he earned degrees from the University of Guelph and Western University, where he studied finance, economics, and political science. He is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional (Canada), with expertise in privacy-related issues, including those in the employment law realm.

Sunny takes a collaborative approach to finding solutions to your workplace matters, though he will not hesitate to take the matter to trial to ensure you get what you deserve.

In his spare time, Sunny enjoys practising Muay Thai, travelling, and spending time with his family and friends.
